Advanced Dental Assistant Training School LLC (ADATS, "we," "us," "our") operates dental assistant and dental X-ray technician training programs at two campuses:
ADATS is certified to operate by SCHEV (the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia).
This policy applies to adats.us, its enrollment and contact forms, and any SMS, phone, or email communications ADATS or its representatives (including Kavalsia Inc., acting on ADATS's behalf for marketing and enrollment technology) send as a result of information submitted through those channels.
We collect information you provide directly, including:
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian's involvement in the enrollment process.
We do not use cookies, pixels, or tracking technology to collect this information beyond what is disclosed in Section 6.
We use the information you provide to:
We do not use your information to make decisions about you using automated processing alone. A person at ADATS is involved in every enrollment decision.
This section exists specifically to satisfy carrier review of ADATS's text messaging program, and it states our policy plainly:
Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This includes lead generators, data brokers, and any business other than ADATS itself. Your phone number and your consent to receive text messages exist only for ADATS's own communications with you about your own enrollment.
The only parties who see your mobile number are:
None of the above sells, rents, licenses, or otherwise shares your mobile number or opt-in status with any other business, affiliate, or third-party marketer.
Where our messages come from: ADATS text messages are sent from (866) 310-9973, a toll-free number. That is the number a STOP or HELP reply is honored on.
How you opt in: by checking the SMS consent box on our enrollment or contact form, or by verbally agreeing to receive texts during a phone call with our admissions staff, which we log.
How you opt out: reply STOP to any text message from ADATS at any time, or text STOP to (866) 310-9973, or contact us using the information in Section 8. Once you opt out, we will not send further text messages to that number, and we will honor a STOP received on any ADATS message program across all of our text communications with you, not only the one it was sent in reply to.
Message frequency: varies based on your application status and how you interact with us, up to approximately 8 messages within a 30-day period. See our SMS Terms for the complete program terms.
Message and data rates may apply.
Consent to receive text messages is never required to apply, register, pay the $200 registration and supplies fee, or receive any service from ADATS. You may decline SMS and still complete your application by phone or email.
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only with:
We do not share your information with other businesses for their own marketing.
Our website and application pages use the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram advertising). It records that a page was viewed and that an action such as starting or completing an application took place, so we can measure whether our advertising is reaching people who are actually interested in training with us.
What it does not do: it is not used to build a profile of you for any other business, and your mobile number and SMS consent are never passed to it. See Section 4, which states that separately and without exception.
You can limit this in two places that are outside our control and belong to you:
We also use the platform's own page analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. If we add another analytics or advertising tool, this section will name it before it goes live.
On this device: our application, registration and contact forms remember your name, email, phone number, program and campus in this browser's local storage for up to 30 days so you do not have to type them again; this is never kept in a cookie and never shared, and the "Not you? Clear" link on any of those forms deletes it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
For any privacy question, to exercise a right described above, or to report a concern about how your information is being used:
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes affecting how mobile information is used will not be applied retroactively to reduce protections described in Section 4 without new consent.
